Transport to Vileimil
Travel Options to Vileimil 36 in A Pontenova from Two Nearby Airports
From Santiago de Compostela Airport:
By Car:
- You can rent a car at the airport and drive to Vileimil, a journey of around two hours. Several rental companies are available, allowing you to choose the best option for your budget.
- If you have your own vehicle, you can drive directly to Vileimil. The roads are all paved, and we provide free parking.
By Bus:
- A daily Alsa bus departs from Santiago de Compostela city center to A Pontenova. From there, we offer a complimentary shuttle service to Vileimil, or you can catch another bus to reach us.
- Alternatively, you can take a bus directly from Santiago de Compostela Airport, with one stop along the way, before arriving in A Pontenova.
By Taxi:
- Taxis are available to bring you directly to our location, and we can recommend an affordable taxi service.
From Oviedo Airport:
By Car:
- Car rentals are available at the airport, or you can drive your own vehicle straight to Vileimil.
By Bus:
- There is a morning bus service from Oviedo city center to A Pontenova. For exact times, visit Alsa.com.
Blablacar (Carpooling):
- In Spain, you can use the carpooling service Blablacar.com to find rides between locations. Be sure to select a driver with good reviews for a reliable ride.
The Surroundings
The area surrounding the retreat is rich with natural beauty, featuring rivers, waterfalls, and mountains blanketed in trees.
Explore the enchanting forest, which offers hiking trails for everyone, from challenging routes to more gentle paths.
A river, perfect for swimming, is just a 4-minute drive from the retreat. The riverbanks are home to colorful dragonflies, adding to the serene atmosphere.
Beaches are located within a 40-minute to 1-hour drive, depending on which one you choose to visit.
The closest town, A Pontenova, is only 10 minutes away by car. You can also reach the charming, storybook towns of Taramundi and Meira in just 20 minutes.
